Am I the worst blogger in the world?

The last post I made here was in October 2010! Whoa! That’s almost 4 years. I’ve always meant to establish a regular pattern of writing on here but somehow it just never happened. I thought about taking this blog down many times but I guess I was too busy with other things. I’m now going to make a fresh effort to become some kind of a blogger. Therefore I will be posting various random thoughts on my life, the universe and everything. I have no idea if anyone is reading these posts or how long my newfound resolve will last but I’ll put it out there anyway.

Filling in the gaps

A lot has happened in the last 4 years. I’ll try to fill in some of the gaps over time with some reviews and reflections. There is also a huge archive of images to sort through so perhaps some photo-essays will be a nice addition. One thing that I have been fairly consistent with since 2011 is my Instagram channel so if you have some time to kill, head over and have a browse.

Consistency is key

Life is all about habits. Our habits define us. Our habits are the cause of the actions we choose. In many ways, we are complete slaves to our habits. On this basis, it is extremely important to be mindful of what we do every day. One of my goals is to write a book one day in the future. In order to transition into the kind of person who is capable of doing this, then it’s quite obvious that I need to actually sit and WRITE something every day. We BECOME what we DO on a consistent basis.

Where am I now?

I’m in England right now decompressing after a fairly hectic 3 month tour in the USA. I’m using this time to take stock of projects, organise myself and review goals for the future. Luckily the sun is shining during this last week. Here is a snapshot to get the flavour of my current location:

Newquay, Cornwall
